FAQs

Most frequent questions and answers

Unlike other jewellers and jewellery stores, each piece of jewellery we produce starts off as a brand new idea.

Because of that, it is difficult to know how much a piece is going to cost without knowing a bit more about the idea you have in mind.

The easiest way to get an estimate on your piece is to start a consultation with us. With just a bit of information, we can usually provide you with an estimate very quickly. Once we have the finer details, we can offer you a proposal with an exact price.

We believe the experience of getting something made just for you should be accessible to everyone. While our jewellery is all custom designed and crafted to exceptionally high standards, we’re able to keep our costs much lower than traditional jewellers who do custom work – not by cutting corners or settling for lower quality, but by finding better ways to do things.

Keeping our costs low means we’re able to produce heirloom-quality custom jewellery for prices that are comparable to what you would pay for similar quality pieces off the shelf. If you are purchasing a piece of jewellery that you want to last a lifetime (like an engagement ring or wedding band, for instance), then we offer the opportunity to have something made just for you for roughly the cost of something that’s been mass-produced.

However, custom designing and making every piece one-of-a-kind at such high quality means we can not offer jewellery at the prices of fast fashion brands.

We have a team of jewellery designers and 3D artists, as well as a team of design consultants. When you start a consultation with us, you will be paired up with one of our design consultants who will help you flesh out the details of your design, as well as weigh various options.

Once your design consultant has the information they need, they will work with our team of artists to produce sketches and renderings of your piece based on the information you have given us. You will have a chance to review the design and offer feedback – and we will keep designing until you are happy.

Before we produce 3D previews of your piece, we require a deposit up front – the deposit goes toward the final cost of producing your piece. Should you decide not to proceed with production of your design, the deposit is partially refundable minus a small amount we retain to cover our designers time.

In some cases, we may produce hand-drawn sketches of your piece to help us firm up the details of the design before we proceed. There is no payment or deposit required for sketch work.

Our projects, on average, take about 4 weeks from start to finish. That includes a few days of discussing your ideas and ironing out the details, producing the design and 3D models, around 2 weeks of production time, Some of our customers are ready to go to production almost immediately, and some choose to discuss their design for weeks – or even months.

If you need a piece completed by a certain date, let us know up front, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Unfortunately, if you need your piece completed within 2 weeks or less of making your initial request, we won’t be able to complete your request in such a short amount of time.

Our main location is in London, Hatton Garden, and our jewellery is crafted at workshops here in UK.

We take true pride in our craft and will go to great lengths to ensure that the piece you receive is exactly what you want, and we will not begin production until we get your approval of all the design details.

Because each of our pieces is custom made, items cannot be returned for a refund, and projects cannot be cancelled once production has started. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your item upon receiving it, reach out and we will work with you to resolve the issue to the best of our abilities.

We pack all of our pieces in jewellery boxes.
